Medacs Healthcare Strengthens Middle East Operations to Support Rising Demand for Health Workers
With 18 worldwide offices, Medacs Healthcare is one of the world’s largest clinical staffing groups, currently relocating over 8,000 new international health workers a year into the Middle East, as well as the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
Medacs has been supplying international healthcare talent into Arab nations for over 20 years now, and over the last five years, their operations in the Middle East have tripled in size.
Healthcare in the Middle East is booming, with governments and private healthcare groups investing billions in new hospitals and healthcare services. As a result, demand is rising exponentially for international healthcare workers, particularly across the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
To support their rapidly growing base of Middle Eastern clients to meet this demand, Medacs has strengthened its local operations in the region and ramped up recruitment activities to supply much larger volumes of international healthcare workers at pace.
Medacs now has a much larger Dubai based team, with staff fluent in Arabic to liaise more effectively with clients and licensing bodies, and an enhanced focus on supporting health workers once they arrive and helping them settle in.
Following a series of recent and highly successful ‘volume’ hiring activities, hundreds of doctors and nurses are set to start new roles in the Middle East over the coming months. Medacs has also secured several new contracts with major healthcare groups in the region.
Medacs’ Dubai office is located in Al Salam Tower in Media City, next to the distinctive Kazim Towers.
